Equine Essentials opened in June of 2008 in order to create a comfortable, welcoming place for members of our equestrian community. In our store you will find a wide variety of English tack, riding and casual apparel for both adults and children, as well as unique gifts, fine art and jewelry.

We host a winter seminar series on a wide variety of equine topics. We have hosted saddle fitters, barefoot trimmers, insurance agents, trainers, chiropractors and natural health product manufacturers.  These are always free, fun and informative.  We hope to see you at our next event.

Owner Lynn Pedersen will be available to answer your questions, speak with you about special requests, and mostly to make you feel welcomed and appreciated.

We encourage you to come by when you have a few minutes to browse and chat.  Enjoy a cool drink or cup of coffee, tea or cider (weather appropriate) as you relax in our comfortable chairs and enjoy some outstanding artwork for sale by local artist Betsey MacDonald and nationally know artist Sarah Richards.  We have found some of the same gift items that you'll see in the Back in the Saddle and Wild Wings catalogs, and we sell for less!

Please come in and enjoy a slower pace where you can touch and feel the leather, and smell the aromas that move your soul just the way our horses do.
